A DRIVER had to be cut free from their car and their passenger climbed out of a window after a three -car crash on Coggeshall Road in the early hours of this morning. Woman cut from car after four car pile-up on A12 near Kelvedon

A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after a four-vehicle crash on the A12 near Kelvedon this afternoon. The accident happened at around 12.30pm between junction 23 and 22. Firefighters from Witham, Tiptree and Braintree worked for 45 minutes to free the woman by 1.15pm. The southbound carriageway remains closed by police as the road is cleared of the damaged vehicles and the northbound carriageway has also not by congestion.

A MAN has been arrested after a three-car crash on Coggeshall Road this morning in which a driver was cut free from his car and two people were taken to hospital. The collision, which happened at around 12.30am on the A120, involved a black Mercedes C200 and a blue Peugeot 206. A SERIOUS two-vehicle crash has closed Essex Regiment Way in Chelmsford. The accident happened at around 3.30pm near the Park and Ride. Officers have sealed off the road at the roundabout where the Chelmer Valley Road meets Essex Regiment Way, the A130. The road is completely shut in both directions between this junction and the A131. A diversion is in place via Little Waltham. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
