A pedestrian was killed by a tractor trailer when it broke free from the vehicle and struck the pensioner as he walked along a country road.
Frank Fenning, 79, of Mill Lane, Birch, was walking down Birch Street just before 9am on Sunday, July 5, when he was hit with a tractor trailer.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
