Commuters on services between Upminster and Grays face delays for another hour today after a vehicle struck a bridge near Ockendon.
The line was closed after the incident by Network Rail engineers to allow the area to be cleared. It has since been re-opened.
Services are expected to be delayed by up to 10 minutes.
