Two people have been injured after a two car crash on the A12.
The collision happened at around 11.35am this morning near the Witham South junction of the A12.
Essex Police closed the northbound lane and queues have stretched back to Junction 20a at Hatfield Peverel and the Boreham Interchange.
East of England Ambulance Service described the two patients as"walking wounded" and have not been taken to hospital yet as emergency services are on still at the scene.
