Trains are being delayed by a points failure though Chelmsford this morning (Wednesday, June 17).One of the lines is blocked through the station, and trains may be delayed by around 20 minutes according to Greater Anglia. The failure is primarily affecting trains from Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester and Clacton but is delaying services in both directions. Delays are expected until around 10am. A Greater Anglia spokesman said: "We are sorry if your journey is affected by this problem."
