Essex Police officers have pulled over and breathalyzed a total of 1483 people as part of their ongoing efforts to stop drinkers getting behind the wheel during the Christmas period.Seventy of those people have been arrested, and 14 of those have been charged.Anybody found guilty of drink driving faces criminal record, the loss of a driving licence or a fine of up to £5000.
