There are delays on Greater Anglia trains travelling northbound due to over-running engineering works.
7.32am The 7.30am Liverpool Street to Norwich service, arriving in Chelmsford at 8.03am, is cancelled, while an earlier 6.58am train from Chelmsford was 18 minutes delayed.
On the roads in Essex however there is little reason for any delay.
Traffic is moving slowly in Chelmsford Road westbound between Mountnessing and the Brook Street Roundabout in South Weald.
