The southbound lane of the A12 near Howe Green has now reopened following a lorry crash and subsequent fire earlier this morning.
Following hours of work from fire crews and police, the lorry has now been lifted onto a low loader and removed from the scene, but the northbound carriageway, where the crash happened, will remain closed until the early hours of tomorrow morning in order for debris to be cleared and damage to the road assessed.
